This sort of thing is happening too frequently to be coincidence. A quote or a verse comes to mind that begins a chain of searching and discovery, where unrelated sources converge in uncanny ways. It's a lot of fun, but also makes me sense a Guidance not so much directing me, but saying, "Yep! You're on the right track!"
I have had osteoporosis for at least 30 years. It's inherited. I have done the right things (calcium, vitamin d3, weight bearing exercise, and of the past 6 to 8 years have had medical infusions and more recently switched to injections. Fear of what the next year's hold for me is motivation to continue walking and weight lifting. Fortunately, I enjoy both. One of the comments was ice cream. Yes, thank you. I leave room in my diet for a small amount of ice cream daily. I hope you do well with your coaching. I often get a physical therapy tune up where they change my exercise routine. Every little bit helps.
Thanks for reading, Jane. The fear is worst at night. During the day my defenses are more awake. I have decided to put myself in the hands of this PT, keep a merry heart, and do the work. Ice cream is good therapy, especially Moose Tracks.
Thanks, Donna. I really have no other choice that makes sense. It will be interesting to see how all this works out. At the very least it makes me curious to find more references to "bones" in the Bible and follow the rabbit trails. Good to hear from you!
Welcome to the Bad Bones Club…not the most exciting club to be part of. And good for you in getting after it. Remember, ice cream has calcium, too! 😉 And after lifting weights for a year, I can now open even the most stubborn water bottle. Small blessings. ❤️
You and I seem to be on a VERY similar journey... physically, with couches and relationally with Christ. I so enjoy your posts! And I keep thinking that I need to reschedule a get-together, either with all 4 of us or even just us 2. Maybe this Fall!
Your post has encouraged me to do the next, hard, I don’t want to thing! Thank you 😊
Good! Now I have to take my own medicine. Each day is a push. Thanks for your encouragement.
When I read strength to your bones I was astounded. That couldn’t be coincidence.

Appreciate your story Barbara.
I love your tenacity!

You’re ahead of me on the water bottle test. Especially Walmart water!
I can't open a water bottle without struggle. I guess I need to boost up my weights.
